Prominent Tollywood producer and Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju found himself at the center of attention this morning as Income Tax (IT) officials conducted extensive searches at his residence in Hyderabad. The IT department's actions also extended to the residences of his brother Shirish and daughter Hanshitha Reddy, signaling a comprehensive investigation.

Dil Raju's wife, Tejaswini, addressed the media amidst the ongoing searches, confirming that IT officials had secured bank lockers for examination. She characterized the searches as routine IT procedures related to the film industry, emphasizing that the family is cooperating fully with the authorities. "The officials requested bank details," she explained, "and the lockers were opened and shown to them as part of their investigation."

Industry Speculation and Awaiting Official Statements

The IT department has yet to release an official statement detailing the reasons behind the searches or any preliminary findings. This has fueled speculation within the Telugu film industry, with many awaiting further information and Dil Raju's official response to the situation.

The timing of the searches coincides with a period of mixed box office results for Dil Raju's recent productions. While Game Changer underperformed, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam emerged as a commercial success. Whether the searches are connected to these films or other financial dealings remains to be seen.

This development has certainly captured the attention of the Telugu film industry and the public alike, with many keen to understand the scope and implications of the IT department's investigation.
