Buzz is building in the film industry as reports suggest that Telugu director Bobby Kolli, known for his recent hit "Daaku Maharaaj," might be gearing up for his Bollywood debut, potentially with none other than Hrithik Roshan. According to Gulte, the filmmaker has entered the initial stages of discussions for a Hindi film starring the "War" actor.

The report indicates that Bobby Kolli recently met with Hrithik Roshan and narrated a storyline that reportedly piqued the actor's interest.1 While further details are yet to be confirmed, there's also speculation that the project might be backed by the prominent production house Mythri Movie Makers.

Bobby Kolli's last directorial venture, "Daaku Maharaaj," starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol, was an action thriller that resonated well with audiences despite mixed critical reception. The film, which revolved around an IES officer's fight against a tyrannical family in a village facing a water crisis, proved to be a box office success and is currently streaming on Netflix.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated sequel "War 2" later this year.2 Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film will feature Jr NTR as the main antagonist, marking the "Devara" actor's debut in the YRF Spy Universe.3 Kiara Advani will also star in a leading role.4 "War 2" is slated for a theatrical release on August 14, 2025, coinciding with India's Independence Day and interestingly clashing with Rajinikanth's "Coolie."5

Adding another exciting dimension to his upcoming projects, Hrithik Roshan is also set to direct and star in the fourth installment of the popular "Krrish" franchise, marking his directorial debut.6

The potential collaboration between Bobby Kolli and Hrithik Roshan has sparked considerable interest, and fans are eagerly awaiting further developments on this exciting possibility.
