Mumbai witnessed a historic moment as the trailer for Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's "L2E: Empuraan" premiered in IMAX® format, marking the first time a Malayalam film achieved this feat. The grand event, held at INOX Megaplex, InOrbit Mall, was a celebration of cinematic ambition and collaboration.

Mohanlal, visibly excited, declared, "This is not a film. It's magic." He expressed gratitude to Prithviraj for realizing their dream, emphasizing the film's significance as part of a trilogy.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film's director, spoke of the challenges of scaling up from "Lucifer," acknowledging the confidence Mohanlal and producer Antony Perumbavoor placed in him. He also highlighted the importance of producers like Gokulam Gopalan, who dared to back such ambitious projects, and distributors like Anil Thadani, who are instrumental in reaching wider audiences.

Gokulam Gopalan expressed his faith in the film's global success, while Indrajith Sukumaran praised Prithviraj's directorial clarity. Murali Gopy, the writer, hinted at the film's continuation of the "Lucifer" narrative, promising a grand experience.

Manju Warrier expressed her gratitude for being part of such a prestigious project and lauded Mohanlal's support as a co-actor. Anil Thadani of AA Films, making his first association with Mohanlal, was awestruck by the trailer, stating Prithviraj had "raised the bar for the entire Indian film industry."

"L2E: Empuraan," produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan, is set for a worldwide release on March 27, 2025, in multiple languages. Distribution is being handled by industry leaders across India, ensuring a pan-Indian cinematic spectacle. The event underscored the film's ambition to redefine Malayalam cinema on a global stage.
