Ahead of his film "Kingdom's" release, Vijay Deverakonda is engaging in some fun and sporty promotions. The actor recently took on Mumbai Indians (MI) cricketer Tilak Varma in a friendly pickleball match. Before the game, Vijay playfully wagered that if he lost, he'd don the MI jersey. In the best-of-three showdown, Vijay's team emerged victorious with a 2-1 score. The Mumbai Indians team shared a video of the spirited match on social media, and it has since gone viral, capturing the attention of fans and celebrities alike.

Reacting to the popular clip, Vijay playfully requested Tilak Varma and Rajangad to create a reel using the "Hridayam Lopala" song from his upcoming movie "Kingdom." He also expressed his intention to attend the playoffs in Hyderabad to cheer on the Mumbai Indians team. Today, Tuesday, MI is set to clash with Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium.

"Kingdom," a spy action thriller directed by the talented Gowtam Tinnanuri, is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. The film is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on May 30th and has already generated considerable excitement and high anticipation among moviegoers.
