Director Bashir Aaluri's latest cinematic venture, "6Journey," is poised to hit screens on May 9th, promising audiences a compelling narrative woven around themes of terrorism and patriotism. Produced by Palyam Sheshamma and Basireddy under the Aruna Kumari Films banner, with Ravi Prakash Reddy also serving as a producer, the film stars Ravi Prakash Reddy, Sameer Datta, Tasty Teja, Pallavi, Ramya Reddy, and others. Having completed all necessary formalities, including censorship, the film is geared up for a grand release.
Sharing his journey and vision for the film, director Bashir Aaluri stated, "The film industry has been a path of many hurdles for me. Following my previous directorial ventures, 'Samaram' in Telugu and another film in Kannada, I am now bringing my third film, '6Journey,' to the audience. It's a story that follows the life journeys of six distinct individuals. The central plot revolves around a group initially planning a carefree trip to Goa, which takes a dark turn as they contemplate ending their lives. The film delves into the unforeseen circumstances they encounter during this pivotal journey."
Highlighting the performances and the team's dedication, Aaluri praised, "The pairing of Sameer and Pallavi has delivered truly outstanding performances. New talent Abhiram has also shone in his role as the antagonist. The fresh energy brought by our new music director, fight master, and the entire crew has been wonderful. The producer, who hails from my hometown, possesses a deep passion for cinema and was immediately drawn to this story, which was instrumental in bringing the project to fruition."
Recounting the challenges of filming, the director shared, "We filmed the movie during a particularly challenging rainy season, but remarkably, nature seemed to cooperate with us. Despite numerous obstacles thrown our way, we successfully completed the entire shoot."
Speaking about the film's auditory landscape, Aaluri noted, "Music director MN Sinha has provided an excellent collection of songs. The film boasts a strong musical score, and one of our tracks is already gaining significant traction on YouTube. Crafted with a powerful underlying concept, '6Journey' is designed to captivate a wide audience."
Teasing the film's climax, Aaluri emphasized its impactful nature. "The climax of '6Journey' is exceptionally powerful. We address a pertinent question: how can terrorists dare to attack the land where Lord Rama was born? We've meticulously crafted the climax to ignite a sense of patriotism, showcasing how the youth should rise up and fight back against such threats. This resonates strongly with current realities. The entire film essentially revolves around the critical issue of terrorism. Due to unforeseen challenges during the border shooting and the intense rainy season, the film's budget slightly exceeded our initial estimates."
Looking towards future projects, Aaluri revealed, "I am currently in the planning stages for another film, which I intend to begin shooting in October. This project will be set against the vibrant backdrop of Mumbai. Discussions are ongoing, and I will be sharing full details about this new venture soon."
