Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and visionary director Mani Ratnam's most awaited pan-India movie 'Thug Life', featuring a massive cast, is gearing up for a pan-India release. With the movie scheduled to hit theaters on June 5th, the team had planned a grand audio launch event on May 16th.
However, the film crew has announced the postponement of the event due to the current situation prevailing at the country's borders. In this regard, Kamal Haasan released a statement saying, "Art Can Wait - India Comes First."
"Considering the developments and current tense situation at our country's borders, we have decided to postpone the 'Thug Life' audio launch event scheduled for May 16th.
We believe that this is not the time for celebrations when our soldiers are at the forefront, fighting with unwavering courage to protect our nation. I believe this is a time for solidarity. We will announce the new date soon at an appropriate time.
During this time, we must think about our soldiers who are vigilantly guarding our nation. As citizens, we must respond with restraint and solidarity," stated Kamal Haasan.
