Actor Vijay Deverakonda, frequently at the center of relationship rumors involving Rashmika Mandanna, recently offered clarity on his personal life, indicating that he is not currently seeking a "life partner."

In a recent interaction with Filmfare, when questioned about the qualities he desires in a wife, Deverakonda stated, "Currently not looking for a life partner." Pressed further on whether Rashmika Mandanna "fits the bill," he provided a general response: "Any good woman with a good heart fits the bill."

The conversation also touched upon his on-screen collaborations with Rashmika Mandanna and their perceived chemistry. Interestingly, Deverakonda remarked that they haven't actually worked together extensively as yet. He went on to express a desire to do more films with her, praising Rashmika as a "talented actress and a beautiful woman." He concluded by emphasizing that on-screen chemistry is not a primary concern for him.

Deverakonda's comments about potential collaborations with Rashmika Mandanna come amidst persistent industry buzz suggesting their reunion for the tentatively titled "VD14." While an official confirmation for this project remains awaited, the speculation continues to circulate.


"Kingdom" Shifts Release Date Amidst Geopolitical Tensions

On the professional front, Vijay Deverakonda is set to headline "Kingdom," a spy thriller directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of "Jersey" fame. This film is designed as the inaugural installment of a planned duology.

"Kingdom" was initially slated for a theatrical release on May 30, 2025. However, in light of recent India-Pakistan tensions, the makers have opted to postpone the release to July 4, 2025.
 
The film features Bhagyashri Borse in the lead female role, with Satyadev in a supporting capacity. The music is being composed by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander, and the first single, "Hridayam Lopala," has already been released, building anticipation for the spy thriller.
