As the highly anticipated action thriller "Bhairavam," starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manoj Manchu, and Nara Rohit, gears up for its release on May 30th, and with Manoj Manchu's birthday falling on May 20th, the actor shared his thoughts about the film in a recent press meet. The movie, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, with Pen Studios presenting, has already generated significant buzz with its teaser, songs, and promotional content.

Reflecting on how "Bhairavam" began, Manoj Manchu said, "I met Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas Garu at a film event. He mentioned that director Vijay wanted to meet me. We exchanged phone numbers, and Vijay Garu narrated the story. I liked it very much and immediately said yes. It's a very good action drama."

Talking about his character, he revealed, "I have never done a character like Gajapati Varma before. It's a very intense and ferocious character. 'Bhairavam' will definitely be very special in my career."

Addressing his emotional state at the trailer launch event, Manoj shared, "It's been nine years since I was away from films. I took a break due to some reasons. Coming back to the audience with this film is a very emotional moment for me."

Regarding the screen time distribution among the three leads, he clarified, "Every character in this film has importance. Everyone has their own screen space, and everyone has performed fantastically. The director has written every character wonderfully; they are very strong."

Manoj also spoke about his bond with his co-stars and the director: "Sai is like a younger brother to me, and Rohit is a good friend. Because of this film, the three of us spent a lot of time together, so our bonding has increased even more. Despite many problems in my personal life, we continued shooting at jet speed without any hindrance. This was also inspired by Rohit Garu. During the song shoot, there was a tragedy in his family, but he finished the song without causing any trouble to the shooting. Really hats off to him. Director Vijay Garu also supported us a lot; he became like a family member."

Sharing what he learned from his father, he said, "Taking good care of those who trust you and helping ten people. He came up through hard work. His journey is very inspiring. I learned to be honest by watching him. My father is my hero."

Confirming Aditi Shankar's comment about his cooking skills, Manoj said, "We used to stay in hostels, so we got used to cooking. Even on sets, whenever we got some time, we used to start cooking. Rohit Garu is also a very good cook."

When asked about his solo projects, he mentioned, "'Aham Brahmasmi' was a story I wanted to do solo. However, it didn't work out due to some reasons. But I think God planned it this way. I believe 'Bhairavam' and 'Mirai' are all films planned by God."

Speaking about director Vijay Kanakamedala, Manoj praised, "Vijay has a very good grip on the pulse of the Telugu audience. He presented this film with all commercial elements. Even those who have seen the movie 'Garudan' will be very surprised after watching this film. My respect for him has increased a lot. More directors like him should come. The director also designed my look and costumes in this film. We have seen the movie and are very confident. We liked the movie a lot and believe everyone will definitely like it."

About the music director, he said, "Sri Charan has given a beautiful album. A special song is coming out tomorrow; the song is amazing, and everyone will like it. He has rocked the background score in this film. Everyone who sees the movie tomorrow will say the same."

Sharing his birthday resolution, Manoj stated, "I have taken many. From this birthday, a new life is about to start for me. Before my birthday even started, God gave me back the stage I had missed. I am planning to do maximum movies."

Praising the production design, he said, "A massive temple set was erected for this film. It came out very wonderfully. That set has a very important role in this film."

Talking about producer Radha Mohan, Manoj remarked, "It is very rare to find such a passionate producer these days. He believed in the story and did not compromise anywhere. Really hats off to him; we should encourage such producers."

When asked about his future projects, he concluded, "From the beginning, I have done many experimental films. I always want to do films that are completely different from one another. In the future, I want to do new kinds of films. Also, I want to do a film for children. I will definitely do such a film whenever I get the opportunity."
