Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is set to captivate audiences in a powerful, emotionally-charged role with Kishkindhapuri, a first-of-its-kind occult thriller hitting theatres on September 12th. Helmed by Koushik Pegallapati and produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film’s intriguing teaser was officially released today.
Launched on the occasion of Independence Day, the teaser creates an eerie and unsettling mood from the very first frame. It begins with a mysterious disappearance — a young girl vanishes inside an expansive, ghost-ridden mansion. The silence is broken when a crackling, old radio springs to life with a chilling, cryptic broadcast, setting the stage for a disturbing tale woven with supernatural forces and eerie time distortions.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas brings intensity to his character, while Anupama Parameswaran adds emotional depth as his love interest. Both leads are powerfully introduced in the teaser, offering only a glimpse of the mystery yet to unfold.
On the technical front, the teaser is top-notch. Chunmay Salaskar’s cinematography heightens the feeling of dread and paranoia, while Chaitan Bharadwaj’s haunting score lingers in the audience’s mind long after the teaser ends. The production design by Manisha A Dutt, art direction by D. Siva Kamesh, and editing by Niranjan Devaramane work seamlessly to enhance the mysterious tone. The creative vision is further shaped by G. Kanishka as Creative Head and Darahas Palakollu as co-writer.
With an intriguing blend of thrills, romance, and supernatural suspense, Kishkindhapuri promises an engaging and layered cinematic experience. As September 12th approaches, expectations are running high for what could be one of the most talked-about theatrical releases of the year.
