Padma Shri Brahmanandam, a legendary comedian, spoke at the pre-release event for R. Narayana Murthy's film, 'University Paper Leak,' which is set to release on August 22nd. Brahmanandam's speech was full of praise for the film and its maker, who he called a "force" and a "special person."
An Emotional and Honest Film
Brahmanandam began by explaining the meaning of the word 'university' and how its essence has changed over time. "University means a place of knowledge for the universe. It is a temple that imparts knowledge about celestial bodies and beyond. Today, what have our universities become? R. Narayana Murthy, who is like a bee that collects nectar from all over, has researched this issue and brought it to the public through this film. He is a person with a great resolve to share his knowledge."
He then compared R. Narayana Murthy to Mother Teresa, stating that true beauty comes from a heart full of compassion and a desire to serve. "For 40 years, the Narayana Murthy I know has continuously worked for the people, especially the poor. He is not just an actor but a person who wants to give a message to the world. I haven't seen a film preview in a long time. I wanted to watch this film because the director, producer, and technicians are all the same person. He carries the burden of all 24 departments to show what he wants to say to the people. He did this for you, for the people, and for the poor."
Brahmanandam added that the film has amazing emotions. "The sacrifices of a father and son have been brought together to show how this society plays with human emotions. This film is not far from reality. It is not an imaginary film but a film like a woman who has just bathed and is wearing a handloom saree. It has truths; you just need to search for them. It has the depths of life, not abusive language."
R. Narayana Murthy's Dedication
Brahmanandam praised R. Narayana Murthy's dedication. "This man's life is this shirt and these pants. He has dedicated his life to the people. He will continue to work hard until his last breath. He has worked hard to make this film accessible to everyone, not just for himself but for all of you. Paper leakage is not a small issue. A person who is not a doctor becomes one and treats people; a person who is not an engineer becomes one and builds projects. Where is this country going? Narayana Murthy is doing his part for society. Such people are not individuals; they are forces."
He called R. Narayana Murthy a special person, comparing him to a "pulasa" fish that swims against the current. "This is a film that everyone should watch, especially those whose lives have been ruined by paper leaks. I wish that Narayana Murthy makes more such films with the blessings of the people and that he remains immortal. He has achieved so much by saying no to many temptations throughout his 40-year career."
