The upcoming rom-com Little Hearts, featuring Mouli Tanuj (renowned from “90s Middle Class Biopic”) and Shivani Nagaram (from “Ambajipeta Marriage Band”), is getting ready for a major theatrical release on September 5. Directed by Sai Marthand under the ETV Win Originals banner, the film is produced by Aditya Hasan and brought to cinemas by Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati.
A Nostalgic, Lighthearted Tale
Today's launch of the Little Hearts trailer has sparked positive buzz, standing out for its nonstop comedy and relatable moments. The narrative unfolds in the days before smartphones and Jio SIM cards transformed everyday life, capturing the innocence and quirks of student life.
Akhil (played by Mouli Tanuj) is portrayed as a laid-back intermediate student in Sainikpuri, much to the frustration of his father (Rajeev Kanakala), who frequently laments his son’s lack of ambition. Akhil, however, tackles his dad’s complaints with clever one-liners—preferring meals in peace over family arguments.
In Vayupuri, Katyayani (Shivani Nagaram) matches Akhil’s academic apathy, quickly becoming the object of his affection thanks to his quick wit. Their growing bond faces a challenge when Katyayani’s family considers a move to Bengaluru, raising questions about the fate of their budding romance.
Trailer’s Winning Aspects
Audiences are connecting with the trailer’s lively performances, playful dialogue, and the authentic recreation of a pre-smartphone era where relationships felt simpler and more heartfelt.
Little Hearts looks set to offer plenty of laughs and nostalgia as it heads for its big-screen debut next week.
