Niharika revealed she first heard the story for Mithra Mandali before her Tamil project Perusu, but scheduling the ensemble cast was a challenge. She considers her character in Mithra Mandali fresh and subtle—different from her usual influencer persona. For Niharika, film acting has been a joyful revelation compared to her social media experiences.
On set, Niharika found Priyadarshi to be humble and personable, lauding his immense talent and grounded nature, especially as his film Court achieved major success during their shoot together.
