"I Did a Character I've Never Done Before in 'Telusu Kada,' It's a Fresh Romantic Drama," Says Heroine Srinidhi Shetty
Following the pan-India blockbuster Mirai, People Media Factory is set to release its highly anticipated musical romantic entertainer, 'Telusu Kada,' on October 17th. The film stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda alongside heroines Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna. Directed by noted stylist-turned-filmmaker Neeraja Kona and produced by T.G. Viswa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, the film has already seen its songs become chartbusters and its teaser create significant buzz.
Heroine Srinidhi Shetty recently shared details about the film at a press conference.
On Playing a Romantic Role & The Film’s Unique Concept
Srinidhi, known for her roles in action films like KGF and Hit 3, expressed her excitement about shifting gears:
"I'm very happy. Films like KGF and Hit 3 were action-heavy and involved a lot of bloodbath. 'Telusu Kada' is a light-hearted movie, and we have tried something very fresh. I'm confident that everyone will love this film."
When asked what attracted her to the script, she hinted at a unique twist: "When you have two girls and one boy, people assume it's a typical love triangle. But in Telusu Kada, we've touched upon a unique point that I can't reveal now. You will definitely be surprised when you watch the film."
"I personally love doing romantic stories. 'Telusu Kada' has light-hearted entertainment, and I listened to this story even before Hit 3 was released. I loved the story, but Hit 3 happened to release first. 'Telusu Kada' has love, emotion, laughter, and all commercial elements. After watching it, the audience will feel they have experienced a wonderful romantic drama."
