"Producers Rajesh Danda and Shiva Bommakku Confident That ‘K-RAMP’ Will Win Hearts This Diwali With Its Fun, Music, and Family Appeal"
The lively Diwali entertainer “K-RAMP”, starring Kiran Abbavaram, is gearing up for a grand release on October 18. Directed by Jains Nani, the film is jointly produced by Rajesh Danda and Shiva Bommakku under Hasya Movies and Rudransh Celluloid banners. Promising a perfect mix of youthful energy, emotional drama, and wholesome fun, the movie aims to entertain both youth and family audiences alike.
The Story Behind the Title
Producer Rajesh Danda revealed that the film’s unique title, K-RAMP, stems from the character’s journey. “Our hero’s name is Kumar, a man who faces several ups and downs. The word ‘Ramp’ fits his progression beautifully. We initially named it Kumar Ramp but trimmed it to K-RAMP for its punch. It’s a catchy and character-driven choice, not a controversial one,” he clarified.
He also mentioned his fondness for Balakrishna garu, saying, “I’m a hardcore Balayya fan! At our trailer event, thousands attended, and the energy reminded me of his film crowds. I confidently said K-RAMP will create similar buzz with its mass appeal.”
Fast-Made Film With Visual Grandeur
Rajesh shared that K-RAMP stands as the quickest production under their banner, completed in just six months. “The director and hero were well-prepared, and we trimmed the script early to save time,” he said.
Shot predominantly in Kerala, the film captures lush backdrops, authentic settings, and includes an Onam-themed college sequence that adds local flavor. “The heroine plays a Kerala native, so the visuals and music naturally reflect the state’s beauty. The audience will truly enjoy this visual experience,” he added.
Family-Friendly Yet Youth-Centric
Although the teaser carried a few youthful dialogues, Rajesh Danda insisted that K-RAMP remains a clean entertainer. “We targeted youth to generate buzz first, but this is a complete family film. The censor board gave us an A certificate due to realistic dialogue, not for objectionable content. Every word feels natural, like casual conversation among friends,” he explained.
Rajesh also applauded Kiran Abbavaram’s cooperation, saying, “Kiran garu worked without ego — more like a friend than a star. I wish we had collaborated sooner. We’re sure to team up again in the future.” He also hinted at more projects with Allari Naresh and Sundeep Kishan, along with a dream to one day work with Balakrishna garu.
Music, Cast, and Entertainment Elements
Music by Chetan Bharadwaj is already receiving attention. “His BGM will shake the theatres,” Rajesh promised. The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Naresh, Vennela Kishore, Kamalini Jethmalani, and Vimala Raman. “We don’t compromise on quality; we wait for the right actors. Even my daughter plays a small part,” he shared proudly.
Upcoming Projects
Rajesh teased their future line-up:
-
‘Sammohanam 2’, a women-centric story starring Samyuktha, with the first look releasing this Diwali.
-
A collaboration with Annapurna Studios on a full-fledged comedy featuring Allari Naresh.
Producer Shiva Bommakku’s Thoughts
Co-producer Shiva Bommakku expressed his delight, saying, “From day one, we believed K-RAMP would be a solid success. Director Jains Nani handled the story with clarity and freshness. Kiran Abbavaram’s performance as Kumar is outstanding — you’ll see a new dimension to him.”
He emphasized the film’s entertainment value: “It’s full-on fun from start to finish. Every department — music, editing, and cinematography — has worked in harmony. Naresh and Vennela Kishore bring in hilarious sequences, while the heroine’s character will surprise viewers. We’re confident audiences from every age group will enjoy K-RAMP this festive season.”
With its vibrant storytelling, youthful energy, and heartwarming charm, K-RAMP is positioned as one of this Diwali’s most cheerful theatre experiences, offering a perfect blend of comedy, colour, and emotion.
