Director and actor Tharun Bhascker shared heartfelt appreciation for the upcoming Telugu film Santhana Prapthirasthu, starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary. Produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nivi Hariprasad Reddy under the Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts banners, and directed by Sanjeev Reddy, the film is set to release theatrically on November 14, 2025.
Speaking about his role as Jack Reddy, Tharun described the character as quirky and rooted in social reality—an undertaker with a distinct attachment to caste identity. He remarked, “While shooting, I had a few doubts, but seeing the film erased them all. The story flowed smoothly, carrying light-hearted moments throughout. It reminded me of the satisfaction one feels after eating a delicious homemade Telugu meal.”
Tharun commended the film for tackling the sensitive topic of infertility with both humor and emotion—a rare balance to achieve. He noted, “Santhana Prapthirasthu never felt heavy or melodramatic; it was enjoyable from beginning to end. Jack Reddy, my character, has the type of depth you see in real people, tough outwardly but gentle inside—there’s even spin-off potential.”
He went on to highlight the strong ensemble performances, particularly Vikranth as Chaitanya, and Chandini Chowdary as a relatable lead. According to Tharun, director Sanjeev Reddy brought “clarity and vision,” making for an honest, well-crafted story.
In closing, Tharun encouraged audiences: “Don’t miss Santhana Prapthirasthu when it hits screens on November 14th.”
