Andhra King Taluka, the much-awaited film starring Ram Pothineni, Upendra, and Bhagyashri Borse, is all set for a grand pan-India release on November 27, 2025, a day earlier than initially planned. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series, this film has been generating significant buzz since its announcement for its unique storytelling approach.
Brought to life under the direction and writing of Mahesh Babu Pachigolla, who impressed audiences with Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, the movie is described as a biopic-like story centered around the fan culture. It explores the life of Sagar (Ram Pothineni), an ardent fan of his cinematic idol Surya Kumar (played by Upendra), delving deep into the emotional and social intricacies surrounding such devotion.
The film features an ensemble of talented performers, including veterans Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh, adding layers of drama and relatability. The music duo Vivek-Mervin, making their Telugu cinema debut, have composed a soulful soundtrack that’s received early appreciation.
Cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, complemented by additional work from George C Williams, along with the masterful editing of National Award-winner Sreekar Prasad, promise a high visual and narrative quality that aligns with the project’s artistic aspirations.
The trailer, releasing on November 18 in Kurnool amid a grand public event, has already sparked excitement with its emotional depth and engaging presentation, further elevating expectations for the film.
Andhra King Taluka aims to uniquely capture the blend of identity, fandom, and personal journey, serving both as entertainment and a thoughtful exploration of hero worship and self-discovery in contemporary India.
