Megastar Chiranjeevi fondly recalls the timeless appeal of his film Kodamasimham, which holds a special place in his illustrious career as his only cowboy film. Originally released on August 9, 1990, the movie was a major blockbuster, loved for its unique Western-inspired storytelling, captivating performances, and memorable music by the veteran duo Raj-Koti.

The film, produced by Kaikala Nageswara Rao under Rama Films, is set for a grand re-release worldwide on November 21, 2025, with beautifully restored 4K visuals and 5.1 digital sound. The re-release has been carefully prepared, preserving the original negatives and stills, with technical finesse done by Prasad Labs and others.

He also highlighted the innovative cinematography and pioneering dance sequences choreographed by Prabhudeva.

Producer Kaikala Nageswara Rao praised Chiranjeevi’s dedication during the filming and the efforts to maintain the film's legacy. Director Muralimohan Rao and writers including the Paruchuri Brothers refined the screenplay to enhance the film’s impact without losing its essence.
