The Telugu film Raju Weds Rambai, starring Akhil Raj and Tejaswini, is set to release in theaters on November 21, 2025. Presented by Dr. Nageshwara Rao Poojari and produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi under Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoon Tales, the film is directed by Saailu Kampati. The theatrical release will be handled by Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works. At a recent grand pre-release event in Hyderabad, actor Kiran Abbavaram praised the film’s freshness and the shock value of its climax.

Producer Sai Krishna explained that the story is inspired by a real incident from a village near Warangal and Khammam districts. Director Saailu Kampati narrated the story to them with a demo shoot, which impressed the producers. Despite initial resistance from villagers during filming, the team persevered to keep authenticity. They emphasized that the film, while based on a tragic event, has a mainstream narrative with a positive ending. The dialogues were adapted from the local dialect to make them accessible to a wider audience.

The cast, including Akhil, Tejaswini, and Chaitanya Jonnalagadda (as Rambai’s father), is praised for natural performances that reflect rural life genuinely. The soundtrack by Suresh Bobbili and lyrics by Mittapalli Surender received positive responses.

Director Saailu Kampati highlighted the film’s rooted storytelling, hoping audiences relate deeply with its themes of familial love and cultural values. All involved expressed confidence in the film’s success and urged viewers to watch it in theaters, emphasizing its heartfelt and genuine nature.
