Keerthy Suresh Promises a Riotous Ride with 'Revolver Rita': A Perfect Dark Comedy Arriving on Nov 28
National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh is set to entertain audiences in a bold new avatar with her upcoming crime-comedy entertainer, Revolver Rita. Directed by J.K. Chandru, the film has generated significant buzz with its quirky promotional content. During the pre-release press meet held recently, the team expressed high confidence in the film’s success ahead of its grand release on November 28.
Keerthy Suresh: "A Unique Female-Led Dark Comedy"
Addressing the media, Keerthy Suresh described Revolver Rita as a "perfect commercial dark comedy." She highlighted that while audiences have seen many films in this genre, a female-centric dark comedy is a rarity.
"The story unfolds over a single day and features incredible characters," Keerthy shared. She spoke fondly of her co-stars, noting that audiences will see a completely new side of actor Sunil and praised the chemistry she shares on-screen with veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar.
Keerthy credited director Chandru for presenting her character, 'Rita', in a stylish and entertaining manner. She also thanked music director Sean Roldan for his excellent score and the DOP for the film’s visual appeal. She acknowledged the producers (known for the hit film Maharaja) for their uncompromising production values.
High Praise from Co-Stars and Distributors
Actor Ajay Ghosh showered praise on the leading lady, stating that working on Revolver Rita gave him the same level of satisfaction as working on blockbusters like Rangasthalam and Pushpa. "Keerthy Suresh and Samantha are my favorite actresses. Keerthy is incredibly humble; she even personally invited me for photos on the last day of the shoot. Her action sequences in this movie are something to watch out for," he said.
Distributor Kumar, who is releasing the film in Telugu and Kannada, revealed that he has already watched the final cut. "It is an extraordinary film. Keerthy’s performance is stellar, and the supporting cast has done a fantastic job. We are happy to bring this movie to the audience in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana," he affirmed.
