Rocking Star Yash’s much-awaited 2026 release, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, has turned up the heat yet again with the unveiling of the first look of Kiara Advani as ‘Nadia’. Positioned as one of the most anticipated films of 2026, the project continues to generate huge buzz across industries as every new reveal adds to its mystique and scale.
Known for her versatility and strong screen presence, Kiara Advani appears in an all-new avatar in Toxic. Having successfully navigated emotional dramas, romantic entertainers, and big-ticket commercial films, she has cemented her place as one of the leading voices of contemporary Hindi cinema. With Nadia, she steps into the raw, imaginative, and layered world crafted by director Geetu Mohandas, marking a bold and intriguing progression in her career.
The first look poster presents Nadia in a visually striking frame — glamorous and radiant under the circus lights, yet surrounded by an atmosphere that hints at turmoil. At first glance, she appears dazzling against a vibrant carnival backdrop, but a closer look reveals subtle grief, inner conflict, and emotional vulnerability. This contrast between spectacle and sorrow suggests that Nadia is not a conventional glamorous part, but a deeply performance-driven character that could become a turning point in Kiara Advani’s filmography.
Speaking about Kiara’s work in the film, director Geetu Mohandas shared that some performances transcend the screen and redefine an artist’s journey. She described Kiara’s portrayal in Toxic as transformative, expressing pride in the faith, honesty, and emotional intensity the actress brought to the role and to their collaboration.
Four years after rewriting box-office records with KGF: Chapter 2, Yash returns to cinemas with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, a film already tagged as a pan-Indian event movie. The announcement of Kiara’s first look arrives in sync with the 7th anniversary of KGF, the film that kickstarted Yash’s rise as a nationwide phenomenon, making this reveal even more special for fans.
Toxic is co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, and has been shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages, reflecting its strong global intent. The film boasts an impressive technical lineup: National Award winner Rajeev Ravi as cinematographer, Ravi Basrur as music composer, Ujwal Kulkarni handling editing, and TP Abid in charge of production design. High-octane action has been crafted by Hollywood action director JJ Perry (of John Wick fame) along with National Award-winning duo Anbariv, promising a stylish, gritty action canvas.
Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa, setting the stage for a massive festive opening.
