Laughs, Life, and Lessons: Manchu Lakshmi’s ‘Lechindi Mahilalokam’ Trailer Promises a Relatable Fun Riot

The trailer for the upcoming family entertainer Lechindi Mahilalokam was unveiled with much fanfare at Prasad Labs on Monday. Shifting away from preachy narratives, the film aims to tackle the complexities of modern relationships and neighborhood dynamics through a comedic lens. Jointly produced by Hyma Rajasekhar, Shweta Mahi, and Nirosha Naveen, the movie is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 26, 2026.

Sunstudio, in partnership with UFO, is handling the distribution to ensure the film reaches a wide audience across the Telugu states.


A Comedic Take on Modern Marital Woes

The film, directed by the duo Arjun and Carthyk Sreerama Chandra, explores the delicate early days of marriage where minor misunderstandings are often amplified by meddling neighbors.

  • The Male Lead: Singer and actor Srirama Chandra plays the lead opposite Ananya Nagalla. He noted that the story is "fresh and relatable," urging men to treat women "like gold" rather than focusing on material gifts.
