The Telugu film industry witnessed a high-profile launch this Saturday as Mega Prince Varun Tej’s next big project, Bhari, was officially kicked off with a traditional pooja ceremony. Adding immense star power to the event, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan attended as the chief guest, sounding the clapboard for the muhurat shot and offering his blessings to the team.

Produced by Niharika Konidela under her Pink Elephant Pictures banner and directed by Yadhu Vamsee, the film is set against a rustic backdrop with a competitive sports theme.

A Family Collaboration with a Vision

For Niharika Konidela, Bhari marks a significant milestone as she produces a film starring her brother, Varun Tej. Reflecting on the legacy of her father, Nagendra Babu, who produced films with his brothers, Niharika expressed her pride in continuing the family tradition.

"Launching this film with my brother Varun is incredibly special," Niharika shared. "After the success of Committee Kurrollu, I am thrilled to collaborate with director Vamsi again. Our goal is for audiences to trust the Pink Elephant Pictures name for quality cinema."

Volleyball, Village Drama, and Sankranti Goals

Director Yadhu Vamsee, fresh off the success of his previous outing, spent a year developing this unique story centred on volleyball. Varun Tej has already dived into intense practice sessions to portray the athlete authentically.
