The highly anticipated collaboration between the "Makkal Selvan" Vijay Sethupathi and "Dashing Director" Puri Jagannadh has officially completed its production phase. Titled "Slum Dog" (with the intriguing tagline 33 Temple Road), the pan-India action thriller is currently undergoing rigorous post-production in multiple languages.
Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner, alongside JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla, the film is already being hailed as a landmark project for the duo.

The wrap-up of Slum Dog coincides with a monumental milestone in Puri Jagannadh's career. It has been exactly 26 years since he made his directorial debut with the cult classic Badri, starring Pawan Kalyan. To mark the occasion, Vijay Sethupathi took to social media to pen a heartfelt tribute to the director’s enduring legacy.
"26 years in cinema is not just a milestone; it’s a legacy built with courage and a fearless voice," Sethupathi shared. He further added that Slum Dog will be remembered as a "very special film" for everyone involved, praising Puri’s ability to push actors beyond their comfort zones.
