Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram’s Rayalaseema-Backdrop Entertainer Veera Thilakam Commences Regular Shoot
The promotional machinery for Tollywood’s biggest upcoming holiday spectacle has officially shifted into high gear with a highly inventive and humorous digital rollout. Bringing together a powerhouse multi-starrer combination, Victory Venkatesh, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and hit-machine director Anil Ravipudi are joining forces for a full-fledged commercial entertainer.
Tentatively referred to during its launch as #VenkyAnil5 and #NkrAR2, the makers have now dropped a fun-filled promotional video to announce that the film's regular shooting schedule commences tomorrow in Hyderabad.

A Blood-Tilak Ritual: Breaking Down the Hilarious Promotional Video
In an era dominated by highly competitive and formulaic movie promotions, Anil Ravipudi continues to shatter traditional blueprints by wrapping standard production updates in sheer creativity and comedy. Following the film's formal pooja ceremony a couple of days ago, the team officially announced tomorrow's shooting date through a meta-humorous sketch.
-
The Master Promoter: The video opens with Anil Ravipudi interacting with his technical team, light-heartedly boasting about how fans constantly praise his inventive marketing skills. He humorously recalls that admirers even presented him with a sword and a ceremonial turban as tokens of appreciation for his promotional genius.
-
The Sudden Subversion: The comedy takes an unexpected, hilarious turn when Victory Venkatesh suddenly grabs the ceremonial sword, uses it to make a tiny cut on the director's thumb, and applies a traditional Veera Tilakam to his forehead.
-
A United Team Front: Kalyan Ram immediately steps up to repeat the blood-tilak ritual, followed in quick succession by Keerthy Suresh, Krithi Shetty, and music composer GV Prakash Kumar. The entire video functions as a highly entertaining and witty metaphor for the team officially sealing their bond as they head onto the film sets.
Non-Stop Entertainment Set Against a Rayalaseema Backdrop
Redefining a Gritty Genre: The most significant creative takeaway from the newly released video is the formal confirmation of the film's central backdrop. While the narrative architecture is explicitly set in the region of Rayalaseema, the showrunners strongly emphasized that the movie will bypass dark factional tropes to deliver a thoroughly entertaining, laugh-out-loud theater experience.
To guarantee that this massive Sankranthi entertainer matches elite technical benchmarks, Shine Screens has aligned an accomplished crew behind the camera. The film’s vibrant musical landscape and background score are being composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while the glossy visual textures will be framed through the lens of veteran cinematographer Sameer Reddy. Immersive production sets are designed by art director AS Prakash, working alongside sharp narrative transitions managed by editor Tammiraju under the operational oversight of executive producer S Krishna. With comprehensive script workshops successfully concluded, the cameras will officially begin rolling tomorrow morning.
