"Don't Miss a Single Frame!" Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Promise a Mind-Bending Thriller with 'I, Nobody'

The highly anticipated Malayalam psychological action thriller I, Nobody has officially made its way to the Telugu states. Following its grand worldwide release on July 9, the Telugu dubbed version hits silver screens on July 10, 2026. Renowned production powerhouses Sravanthi Movies and Mythri Movie Makers have backed the film's extensive Telugu theatrical rollout.

Following a highly exclusive special preview screening in Hyderabad on Thursday evening, the core team—led by Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran and National Award-winning actress Parvathy Thiruvothu—interacted with the media at a high-profile press conference to share their creative experiences.

"I Have Immense Faith in the Telugu Audience" – Prithviraj Sukumaran

Stepping into the shoes of the lead character Rajeevan, an ordinary man trapped in a dangerous web of media manipulation and institutional failure, Prithviraj Sukumaran opened up about the film's core theme and its technical brilliance.

Prithviraj Sukumaran on the Unique Screenplay:

"I, Nobody is a meticulous thriller where you simply cannot afford to look away; you shouldn't miss a single frame. The story isn't just about a crime or money—it explores forced societal identities and the overwhelming power of mainstream and social media over an ordinary citizen's life. We shot the intense action sequences in raw, natural locations on the streets of Trivandrum under highly challenging conditions."

Key Highlights from Prithviraj's Interaction:

  • The Hyderabad Connection: Prithviraj jokingly remarked that he has lately been spending more time in Hyderabad than at his home in Kerala, slyly hinting at his highly anticipated upcoming shooting schedule with master craftsman SS Rajamouli and producer Karthikeya.

  • Creative Philosophy: As a co-producer under Prithviraj Productions alongside Mukesh R. Mehta and C.V. Sarathi, he stated that he listens to scripts strictly as an audience member. "I earn a solid income as an actor. As a producer, my target isn't to mint money, but to deliver cinema that breaks boundaries," he added.

"Working with Prithvi is an Ongoing Learning Experience" – Parvathy Thiruvothu

Versatile actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, who plays Meera—the anchoring force opposite Prithviraj’s character—expressed her joy in landing such a distinct, emotionally driven role.

  • On-Screen Conflict: Parvathy revealed that while she and Prithvi share an incredible mutual respect off-camera, their characters Rajeevan and Meera are constantly locked in intense psychological conflict throughout the movie.

  • Future Choices: Reiterating her policy of never repeating similar characters, the actress expressed her extreme eagerness to sign a fresh, original script directly in mainstream Telugu cinema very soon.

Strong Endorsements from the Team and Producers

  • Music Director Jakes Bejoy: The composer stated that director Nissam Basheer had a highly global vision for the film's sonic identity. To ensure I, Nobody crosses linguistic borders smoothly, they integrated stylized English and Hindi tracks alongside the localized scores.

  • Mythri Shashi: "The suspense formatting is brilliant. You simply cannot guess what the next scene is going to be. Telugu audiences always embrace innovative cinema, and I, Nobody is exactly that."

  • Producer Mukesh R. Mehta: Praising Prithviraj as a complete "producer’s actor," Mehta confirmed a bold distribution decision: "I made this movie purely for the premium big-screen experience, including IMAX formats. We have intentionally not sold the OTT or digital streaming rights yet. The film will head to streaming platforms only after its full theatrical run concludes."
