Rustic Vigor, Deep Emotions & Aggressive Action: Committee Kurrollu Fame Sandeep Saroj Headlines Godavari-Based Drama VETA!

Following the critical acclaim and audience love garnered by Committee Kurrollu, promising young actor Sandeep Saroj is stepping into an intense, commercial action space with his upcoming film titled VETA (The Hunt). Backed jointly by Shree Radha Damodar Studios (SRD Studios) and ETV WIN Originals, the film marks their third collaborative production.

Written and directed by debutant Ashok Kotipalli, the project was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, introducing an untold, gritty saga rooted in the lush yet volatile heartlands of the Godavari region.

Star-Studded Pooja Ceremony

The launch event saw several distinguished film personalities stepping forward to bless the young team:

  • Script Handover & Clapperboard: Mega brother Konidela Nagendra Babu graced the event as the chief guest and handed over the bound script. Renowned director-actor K.S. Ravi Kumar sounded the clapboard for the inaugural shot.
  • Camera Switch-On & Support: Hit filmmakers Sai Rajesh (Baby), SKN, V.N. Aditya, and producer Phani Adapaka switched on the camera. Prominent directors Meher Ramesh, Yadhu Vamsee, and music composer Anudeep Dev also attended to extend their support.

"The Narration Left No Doubt": K.S. Ravi Kumar on His Crucial Role

Sharing an amusing and heartfelt anecdote from the script narration, legendary director-actor K.S. Ravi Kumar revealed:

*"Director Ashok Kotipalli narrated the entire story to me over a WhatsApp call about 15 days ago. His expressive narration, vocal modulation, and passion were so infectious that my wife, who overheard part of it, immediately asked if I had said yes.

The core storyline is genuinely distinct, and my character has immense suspense. I also joke that my Telugu diction will improve drastically with 'VETA' because Ashok has written some heavy, hard-hitting dialogue for me."*
