One of the biggest and trendsetting blockbusters in recent times is 'DJ Tillu' featuring Siddu Jonnalagadda. The way he acted and the entire story became a hilarious entertainer with the audience and even today, most of the film's scenes are repeatedly played on Youtube. As a result, the team decided to go for a sequel and this is expected to hit the theatres this year.
Meanwhile, Siddu is also signing up for another movie and here is the interesting bit. The film is being directed by a girl called Vaishnavi and this is going to be her debut flick. Besides that, Vaishnavi happens to be the protégé of concept director Sukumar and hence Sukumar Writings is going to be one of the producers.
As such, Siddu has the habit of being involved in all aspects of his film right from the writing to editing so it is quite possible that even Sukumar would lend his hand wherever required. If that happens then this movie is going to be having the right material to score a big hit at the box office. Moreover, the film is being co-produced by BVSN Prasad under his home banner so the release scale would also be high.
This is going to be the eighth project for Siddu after the sequel of 'DJ Tillu' and given his flair for creative and entertaining writing, this film is expected to create a good vibe. The fact that Siddu is teaming up with a debutante filmmaker and that too a female goes to show the confidence he has on the script and the abilities of Vaishnavi. And with Sukumar's hand on top, the entire set up looks perfect to score a hit. The other details such as the leading lady and the crew are being worked on and a formal announcement of the project is expected very soon.
