The poster of the upcoming movie Adi Purush was released on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, but it has faced heavy criticism from both the general public and the media. Many people are disappointed with the poster, stating that it is of low quality and inconsistent with the expectations of the audience.

One criticism is that the costumes worn by Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita are not appropriate for the scene depicted in the poster, which appears to be the Pattabhishekam scene after Ravana's death, with Hanuman present in the background. Another concern is that Sita is shown without traditional symbols of marriage, such as sindoor, mangalsutra, or bangles.

Additionally, Lakshmana's attire is being criticized for resembling that of a revolutionary fighter from the British era, with leather belts, while Rama appears clean-shaven, and Lakshmana has a trimmed beard. Hanuman is shown without a mustache but with a beard, which some people find inappropriate and even disrespectful.

Many people feel that the creators of Adi Purush have failed to address the criticisms they received after releasing the trailer. The public's expectation for the film to improve following the backlash seems to be fading. Some people are concerned that the portrayal of Ramayana in this manner could be considered blasphemy and may negatively impact Prabhas's career.
