The terrifying stunts in air space, has reportedly given Hollywood star Tom Cruise a great thrill in airplane jumping as well as worldwide recognition. While Hollywood has produced several films based on the Air Force, it is rare for a regional Indian language film to feature an Air Force officer as the lead character due to the logistical challenges involved in shooting airplane sequences.
However, Telugu actor Varun Tej, known for his experimental roles, has taken on the challenge to portray an Indian Air Force officer in his upcoming film directed by veteran ad filmmaker Shakti Pratap Singh. Fans are eagerly awaiting #VT13, which is Varun Tej's first Bollywood project with a unique storyline set in the aviation industry. Varun's attempt to step away from the usual commercial film formula is being welcomed by Telugu audiences.
Former Miss Universe Manushi Chillar is making her Tollywood debut in the film, which is based on true events and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions - Sandeep Mudda - Nandakumar Abbineni. After the success of experimental films like Ghazi and Antariksham, Varun's foray into a unique genre is expected to impress today's trend-conscious audience. Recently, the Gwalior schedule of the film was completed, and Varun Tej shared a poster on social media where he can be seen as an IAF officer in a stylish olive-green uniform, with a solid appearance.
