Sai Dharam Tej has revealed that the second half of 'Virupaksha' spans a night. In a chit-chat with the Hyderabad-based Tollywood media, the Supreme Hero also said that drama and tension around the element of black magic is an essential ingredient of the film.

Karthik Dandu is debuting as a director with this mystical thrillerr. "When I listened to his narration in 2019, I was bowled over by his skills. In that respect, he is in the league of Harish anna (Harish Shankar), Anil anna (Anil Ravipudi) and Maruthi anna," Tej said about the April 21st release produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar Writings. Sukumar's screenplay is gripping and thrilling, he suggested.

The 'Republic' actor was conscious while doing the film. "Before this film, I got to behave like the character. It was like 'jeevinchadam'. In the case of 'Virupaksha', I had to do acting for the first time because it is a period thriller set in the late 1980s and early 1990s," Tej added.

The road accident in 2021 left him unfazed. Megastar Chiranjeevi motivated him by exhorting him to never accept defeat. "His motivational message came in the shape of a lyric written by Sirivennela. 'Eppudu oppukovaddu ra votami' were my Mavayya's words," the 'Prati Roju Pandage' actor revealed.
