Akhil Akkineni finally breaks his silence on Agent's disastrous run

'Agent', which was released in theatres in April, tanked at the box office. The film made heavy losses. It is the biggest jolt in the careers of three people: actor Akhil, producer Anil Sunkara, and director Surender Reddy.

Anil Sunkara admitted that the film was a flop on the third day of its release. On Monday (May 15), it was Akhil's turn to admit the same.

The 'Mr. Majnu' and 'Most Eligible Bachelor' actor took to Twitter and wrote that the film, unfortunately, didn't translate the way it was wished to on the big screen.

Akhil was gracious enough to say that 'Agent' was not a good film.

Curiously, he thanked Anil Sunkara for being his "biggest support system", the distributors and the media. But he skipped director Surendar Redy in his note. "I will come back stronger for all those who believe in me," Akhil added.
