Virupaksha' is slated to be released on Netflix. The supernatural horror, starring Sai Dharam Tej in an atypical role and Samyuktha Menon in an unconventional role, will stream on Netflix from May 21.
"When a man visits his ancestral village, where terror reigns after a chain of unexplained deaths, he must unravel mystical secrets before it is too late," Netflix said about the film's premise, announcing the upcoming premiere.
The highly-rated movie comes with excellent, sound effects, a gripping background score (by 'Kantara' fame B Ajaneesh Loknath), tension, spooky moments, shocking deaths, and a riveting temple backdrop. "Accidents, dangers, disease, death. Virupaksha has these elements planted all over. The second half is where the bonafide drama takes place. The thrills don't go haywire and they don't confuse the audience," TeluguVox said in its review.
