On the day 'Adipurush' was released in theatres, something unsavoury happened on the premises of Prasads Multiplex in Hyderabad. When an audience member panned the movie, a couple of fans of Prabhas assaulted him.
The issue has since spiraled out of control. After the video went viral, the management of the Prasads Multiplex decided to disallow YouTubers from entering the compound to shoot public reviews. The decision has been made to avert legal issues in case fans go berserk in the future. YouTube channels are planning to shoot public reviews outside the premises of the multiplex theatre.
YouTube channels bring to their patrons staged antics that are passed off as genuine public talk. Many individuals who call themselves audience members are actually paid by the teams of the movies to give positive reviews. The tamasha will now come to an end with the ban.
Some paid reviewers have gained fame in recent years, thanks to their spontaneity and ability to make it look natural.
