Ruhani Sharma is playing a confrontational and relentless cop in 'HER Chapter 1', which is going to hit the screens on July 21. Its trailer was released today.
The 'Chi La Sow' actress is seen interrogating a suspect. As the trailer takes off, we see the protagonist at a crime scene, looking for quick clues. One Swathi was killed in a cold-blooded fashion. The investigator has suspicions about the victim's character. Was she loyal to her husband? "There is nothing called a perfect couple," the cop is heard saying with firmness.
For the most part of the racy trailer, the focus is on Ruhani's character. Is she the kind of investigator we believe she is? Or, is there a twist? In the age of films like 'HIT: The First Case' and evolved thrillers, 'HER' should really be a fascinating, shocking thriller with adrenaline-filled moments.
Produced by Raghu Sankuratri and Deepa Sankuratri of Double Up Media, the film co-stars Vikas Vasishta, Pradeep Rudra, and Jeevan Kumar. Vishnu Besi's cinematography, Chanakya Reddy Toorupu's editing, Pavan's music and Sreesan G's sound design are expected to be interesting.
Ruhani is also doing Venkatesh's 'Saindhav'. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film has the 'Meet Cute' actress in a powerful role.
