'Leo': Telugu rights fetch Rs 20 Cr, major banner bags rights

'Hiranyakashyap' is one of the dream projects of Rana Daggubati. The news is that the project, which was supposed to be directed by Gunasekhar, has now been revived in collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas. Inspired by Amar Chitra Katha’s comics, the film has the 'Guntur Kaaram' director writing the story. The project was announced today at the San Diego Comic Con event in the US.

The collaboration between Rana and Trivikram is something that was kept under wraps. The writer-director has been busy with Pawan Kalyan's projects on multiple levels. He is also going to collaborate with Allu Arjun next year.

The 'Baahubali' actor announced a few other projects on the occasion as a producer. His Spirit Media has collaborated with SonyLIV to bring out a web series titled 'Lords Of The Deccan'. The historical epic action-drama series will tell the origin story of the Chalukya dynasty.

A new comic character named Minnal Murali will be brought out through the Indian comic magazine Tinkle. Rana has collaborated with Weekend Blockbusters for the same.
