'Aakasam Dhaati Vasthaava' is the newest announcement in Tollywood. Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha, respectively the nephew and the daughter of star producer Dil Raju, are bankrolling it on Dil Raju Productions. The young banner, which was floated recently, is making content films. The Harshith-Hanshitha duo is taking all creative and financial decisions, while Dil Raju is acting as a guiding force.
The new film features dance choreographer Yash as the hero. While the banner has got resources to work with medium-range heroes, it is more interested in making films with newcomers. Karthika Muraleedharan, a tall and vivacious damsel, has been recruited for the female lead role.
Mahesh Yellapu has penned this musical love tale whose release date is yet to be finalized.
'Balagam' is the biggest hit from Dil Raju Productions so far. The film, directed by Venu Yeldandi, became a soaring hit in March this year. "Sri Venkateswara Creations will be making big-ticket movies (like 'Game Changer') in Telugu and other languages. On the other hand, Dil Raju Productions is inclined to work with emerging talents. We will be producing commercial films, too, in the coming years," said Hanshitha recently.
