Pawan Kalyan, speaking at the pre-release event of 'Bro' on Tuesday night, revealed that he was not in favour of Sai Dharam Tej doing the film at first.
"The script of the film was completed in 15 days. Trivikram favoured Sai Tej. I told him let's not go with him, as he was still recuperating from the road accident he met in September 2021. Trivikram insisted that we have to cast only Sai Tej for that role. We waited for Sai Tej to recover completely. He had to undergo speech therapy. Even after the shoot was started, he somewhat struggled with dialogue delivery. Director Samuthirakani patiently extracted the best from Sai Tej," the actor-politician said.
The film, produced by People Media Factory, will hit the screens on July 28. "Mine is not a guest role. I will be seen for 70-80% of the run time," Power Star said.
The fantasy comedy has music by Thaman. The dialogue and screenplay have been penned by Trivikram.
