It is known that, recently, actor Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha were sentenced to one year in jail for defaming the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank in Hyderabad in the year 2012. A Nampally court found the couple guilty of defamation. They have also been charged a penalty of Rs 5 lakh. They haven't been arrested because they got bail in advance.
What does Megastar Chiranjeevi think of the couple's allegations? It seems he was hurt when the star couple made unfounded remarks against his blood bank more than ten years ago. And that hurt still continues.
At the success meet of 'Baby' on Sunday, producer SKN said that those who tried to defame Chiranjeevi have been sentenced to a jail term. He didn't utter the names of Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, though. The comments were made in the presence of the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor himself.
SKN has been a close aide of Allu Arjun and the larger Mega camp. He has been a die-hard fan of the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor. He weighs his words carefully. The Mega camp surely knows that Chiru was deeply offended when Rajasekhar and Jeevitha made anti-Blood Bank remarks. In fact, it was Allu Aravind who fought the defamation case. The legal battle wouldn't have been taken up without Chiru's backing.
