Shivani Rajasekhar, the daughter of Dr. Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, has had a really dull career despite the actress possessing acting talent. She may not be a gorgeous beauty like Rashmika Mandanna or Sree Leela. But the youngster surely has some talent, as proven by the OTT release 'Adbhutham' (streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar).
This week's release 'Jilebi' went unnoticed. The youthful comedy-drama has been directed by K Vijaya Bhaskar of 'Nuvvu Naku Nacchav' and 'Nuvve Kavali' fame. Probably, Shivani thought that working with a senior director like him will boost her career.
Her presence in 'Pelli SandaD' (2021) and the web series 'Aha Naa Pellanta' (streaming on ZEE5) have also received little traction. Her rom-com 'Vidya Vasula Aham' has failed to grace the theatres for about six months now. The first movie that she signed was '2 States', which got shelved owing to creative differences between its hero Adivi Sesh and its director. 'WWW' was another boring OTT release (streaming on SonyLIV).
Shivani was recently roped in by GA2 Pictures for a remake.
