'Family Dhamaka', an unscripted and spontaneous family show, will start streaming on Aha Video on September 8. Vishwak Sen is its host. The 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' star has already shot for the entire season.
At the OTT platform's promo launch event today, said that he is a big fan of the American Television show 'Family Feud', whose format 'Family Dhamaka' adopts. "Hosting was on my To-Do List. I didn't take even 10 minutes to say yes to the show. The pattern is real and the style os colloquial. Nothing is scripted," he added.
"Interacting with families was like a therapy to me. Shooting for two episodes a day used to make me weak. However, once I restarted interacting with families, I used to regain my energy. That was because of their innocence. The show format is such that even the audience can play the game sitting in front of their monitors. Even I, the the host, was clueless about the answers to questions as others. I didn't want to know the answers beforehand so that my reactions look natural," the 'Das Ka Dhamki' star said.
"This show is going to be a big hit. It won't stop with the first season. I thank the producers for choosing me as the host," the 'Falaknuma Das' actor added.
