G Marimuthu, the popular Tamil artist, died earlier today due to cardiac arrest. His demise at the age of 58 has saddened the Tamil film industry.
Superstar Rajinikanth today took to social media to express shock. Marimuthu played a small role in Rajini's recent blockbuster, 'Jailer'. "Marimuthu is a wonderful person. His death shocked me. My heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family," the 'Petta' star wrote.
Actor Simbu wrote, "Extremely saddened to hear that Marimuthu sir is no more. Remembering the times we worked together. Condolences to the family."
Actor Vishal wrote that life is very unpredictable. "Shocking and unable to digest the fact that my fellow actor and a good human being Marimuthu Sir is no more. Have known him since the time he was a Director and transformed into a versatile actor. My only prayer to God today is to give strength and support to his family. May his soul rest in peace. Speechless, no words coming out as of now, God Bless," the 'Mark Antony' star wrote.
