'Joruga Hushaaruga Shikaaru Podhama' has been made as Santosh Shoban's most expensive film. After a string of flops at the box-office, the 'Ek Mini Katha' actor is looking at a fillip to his career.
Produced by MR Productions, Story Cat Entertainments and S Originals, the film's Motion Poster launch event was held last evening at a star hotel in Hyderabad. The hint is that the film will be a lively rom-com sans heavy-duty scenes. Debutante Phalguni Khanna is on board. Touted to be a joyful film with no melodrama and teary conflict plot points, the film is written and directed by Subash Chandra.
The speakers at the event, on their part, projected the film as a feel-good travel film that will give a sneak into the gorgeous tourist locations across India. 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' director Krish Jagarlamudi, who made it to the event as a guest, expressed his surprise over the scale of the expensive rom-com.
Produced by Praveen Nambaru, Ravi Chenna and Srujan Yarabolu, the film will hit the screens later this year.
As for Santosh Shoban, he was recently seen in 'Prem Kumar', which was his 4th release of the year. 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam', 'Sridevi Shoban Babu' and 'Anni Manchi Shakunamule' were released in January, February, and May, respectively.
