'Kannappa': 600 crew members to work in New Zealand

'Kannappa – A True Epic Indian Tale' is produced by Mohan Babu and stars his son Manchu Vishnu in the lead role. Prabhas might play a cameo in the movie.

The news is that the film went on the floors in New Zealand on Monday. Taking to social media, Vishnu said that the last eight months have been nothing short of a whirlwind for everyone working on the grand movie. "Sleepless nights became the norm, festivals were momentarily forgotten, holidays became scarce, and a good, uninterrupted 5-hour sleep felt like a luxurious indulgence. The anxiety and nervousness still linger, but our spirits remain unwavering," he wrote.

The massive scale of the production can be understood from the fact that a 600-strong cast and crew from around the world will join the core team of the movie in New Zealand soon. Vishnu ended the message by writing, "Har Har Mahadev!"

24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment are going to spend a lot on 'Kannappa'. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Thota Prasad, Thotapalli Sainath, and Burra Sai Madhav are its screenwriters. With music by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassay, the film has cinematography by Sheldon Shau. Art Director Chinna is putting up intricate set designs. Director Mukesh Kumar Singh is waiting to prove his directorial skills.
