Khan defends his obscene comments: 'Cinema rape is not real rape'

Mansoor Ali Khan today defended himself against the mounting criticism of his recent remarks that he had hoped for a rape scene with Trisha Krishnan in 'Leo'. The senior Tamil artist interacted with the media on Tuesday and said that the people of Tamil Nadu are with him.

"In cinema, rape means not real rape. I didn't say anything wrong. The people of TN are with me," Khan said.

In a related piece of news, Megastar Chiranjeevi firmly stood with Trisha and roundly questioned Khan's grotesque remarks. "My attention was drawn to some reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. The comments are distasteful and disgusting not just for an artiste but for any woman or girl. These comments must be condemned in the strongest words. They reek of perversion," the Megastar wrote. The 'Ponniyin Selvan' actress thanked Chiru for his unqualified condemnation.

Nithiin is the other Telugu actor to have expressed solidarity with Trisha.
