'Bhagavanth Kesari' is up for an OTT release. Its post-theatrical streaming is going to happen from November 24. Amazon Prime Video today made the release date official.
The Anil Ravipudi directorial received mixed reviews from critics and positive reviews from the audience. Despite competition from 'Leo' and 'Tiger Nageswara Rao' at the box office, it didn't develop cold feet. The Dasara winner fetched profits to its producers and distributors. "The episode involving the hero and Ravi Shankar in the first half is awesome. Kesari narrates the Bheemseri massacre incident with force. The scene where the abuse by sexual predators is explained by the hero is moving. The pre-interval fight is compelling. Anil Ravipudi's dialogues are entertaining," we wrote in our review, describing the film's merits.
Sree Leela (as the titular character's niece) serves as the emotional anchor in the story. Arjun Rampal, portraying the hero's adversary, did his part well. With music by Thaman, 'Bhagavanth Kesari' had Kajal Aggarwal in an extended cameo.
