Niharika Konidela's comeback film is titled 'WTF- What The Fish'. Debutant Varun Korukonda is directing the film produced by Vishal Bezawada and Surya Bezawada.
"We have cast her as Ashtalaskhmi aka Ash, a very performance-oriented and action-driven character," the makers said. Shakthikanth Karthick will score the music for the movie, while Surya Bezawada is the executive producer.
The film's male lead was said to be Manchu Manoj a few months ago. Surprisingly, there is no mention of his name in the latest update provided to the media by the makers. And there is no admission that Niharika is the film's heroine.
The project was announced six months ago but the goings-on have been slow on the production front. Has the Mega actress replaced Manoj? Has the film's story been changed by any chance?
6ix Cinemas and afilmbyv are expected to provide clarity about the casting soon. The entertainer, which comes with the tagline 'When Crazy Becomes Cracier', will hit the screens in the second half of 2024.
