'Hi Nanna' is all set to be released on Netflix on January 4, 2024. The date was today made official by the streaming giant. "Love is in the air, and so is our excitement. Join Nani and Mrunal Thakur in their journey of finding love in Hi Nanna. Hi Nanna, streaming from 4th January in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on Netflix," the platform's social media handles announced.
The film clashed with Nithiin's 'Extra - Ordinary Man' in theatres in the second week of December. Nithiin's movie received a blow because of 'Hi Nanna', which remained the most-preferred film of the Nizam and US audience till Salaar's release on December 22.
Also starring Jayaram, Angad Bedi, Priyadarshi, and Shruti Haasan (in a cameo), the film was directed by newcomer Shouryuv. "Hesham Abdul Wahab's background music is far from splendid. But it suffices in elevating the emotion in quite a few scenes. The songs 'Samayama' and 'Ammaadi' match the film's classy overtones. Praveen Anthony's editing delves into the non-linear nature of the screenplay," our review opined. The film is likely to find favour with the family audience upon its release on OTT in the first week of January.
