However, it emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, thanks to its ensemble star cast.
In 2022, the director's 'Uunchai' disappointed many although it was deemed heart-touching by a section of the audience. The adventure drama featured Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and others. His 2015 romantic drama 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' starred Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher. Himesh Reshammiya was its music director.
