'105 Minutes' stars Hansika Motwani in the lead. The single-shot movie with just one character will be released in theatres on January 26. Its trailer was released today.
Hansika's character finds herself entangled in a perplexing situation, clueless about the imminent threat to her life from unseen adversaries. The trailer warns, "What you can't see can harm you". To bring the envisioned elements to life, the 'Desa Muduru' and 'Denikaina Ready' actress had to rely on her imagination, visualizing objects and lightning effects crafted through VFX during the post-production phase (Phanivihari Gantala served as the VFX Supervisor).
Director Raju Dussa is inspired by the Hollywood classics 'Bird Man' and '1917' in making the movie. The unconventional structure of a single-shot narrative aligns real-time with reel time on an intuitive level.
The film's music is by Sam CS. Kishore Boyidapu's cinematography and Brahma Kadali's production design have to accentuate the visual experience of the film, which takes place indoors most of the time.
Produced by Bommak Shiva of Rudransh Celluloids, the film has minimal dialogue.
