Each leader or chief minister has his or her own style of approach and the same has been the case with most CMs of Andhra Pradesh and they also become well known to their own MLA's and bureaucrats that this is how they can approach the CM. With NTR, CBN and YSR, they all had their own way of handling things.
Late CM Dr. YSR was initially very aggressive in the way he interacted with others, especially his opponents but after becoming CM, he declared that he lost the nerve responsible for triggering anger. The current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy too has a unique sense of meeting or interacting with his own leaders which is evident on different occasions.
However, there have been some unfortunate incidents involving Narsipatnam MP Raghurama Raju, MLAs like Kotamreddy and Anam who have all distanced themselves from Jagan. They allege that a group of leaders close to the CM who are calling the shots are creating all this gap. Many YSRCP insiders feel that a patient audience and appointment by the CM could have done the trick and avoided any showdowns.
Now, there seems to be some change in Jagan's approach when he spoke to Mylavaram MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad, with the latter embarrassing the party with his latest statements. However, CM Jagan invited him over and heard his grievances regarding over interference by Minister Jogi Ramesh and after proper verification, Jagan reportedly felt that it was more due to Ramesh's attitude that the MLA is facing problems.
Jagan gave an earful to him and convinced Vasantha that the party will always be on his side. Instead of letting the MLA become a rebel, many feel that Jagan intervened at the ripe time and are hoping that the CM gives some time for leaders so that any infighting can be nipped in the bud.
